2022 National Academic Team Champions And All-American Scholar-Athletes in Men’s Gymnastics

Stanford has been declared the 2022 College Gymnastics Association’s national academic team champion, earning their tenth national academic title since the inception of the team award in 1991. William & Mary finished second with Michigan taking third place. Springfield and Illinois were fourth and fifth respectively with California-Berkeley, Ohio State, Nebraska, Navy, and Army West Point rounding out the top 10. The College Gymnastics Association’s top 10 academic teams for men’s gymnastics are:

  5. Illinois - 3.253

  6. California-Berkeley - 3.217

The College Gymnastics Association has also honored 97 individual gymnasts as 2022 First Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher and 41 Second Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a grade point average between 3.499 and 3.2.
