The CGA, in partnership with Virti.us, is excited to announce the fourth annual CGA All-Star meet to kick off the 2026 NCAA men’s gymnastics season. Each year this contest acts as a preview for the upcoming season. The NCAA will be split into two divisions, East and West and the athletes will compete head to head to crown the top division in NCAA Men’s gymnastics.

This event would not be possible without the generous support of TURN, DGS, FlipFest, and Spieth.

All Scores Count

CGA All Stars Rule Book

9.0 Base Score + 1.0 Bonus = 10.00 Start Value

Base Score

Each routine will consist of 5 skills plus a dismount. Each routine with all 4 element groups completed will recieve a base score of 9.0. Element groups are the same as the 2025-2028 FIG Code of Points.

Deduction Ranges

Small - .05

Medium - .1

Large - .2

Fall - .5

Composition Bonus & Penalty

To improve score parity across all 6 events, composition bonus will be offered on more challenging events. Still Rings and High Bar had lower start values for many teams in previous years. For Floor Exercise, there is a safety option. An athlete can choose to not compete a double flipping dismount but still achieve a 10.00 by adding one tenth in bonus somewhere else. All skill values satisfy Element Group credit.

Each composition Bonus can be awarded only one time per routine. Composition Bonus will count toward the maximum 1.0 Bonus.

Composition penalties will be applied as deductions to the Base Score. For example, missing an element group will incur a two tenth penalty from the Base Score. The Base score will show 8.8 rather than 9.0.

**No Stick Bonus on Pommel Horse**

**No Double Flip on Floor**
