Last season, Stanford won its 5th consecutive NCAA title, tying the record that Nebraska holds for most consecutive titles. If Stanford wins, Head Coach Thom Glielmi will make history. Currently, Oklahoma is ranked #1 followed by Michigan, and Stanford. While the top 3 teams are strong, any team that qualified for team finals will have a shot to disrupt Stanford’s winning streak.

In the All-Around competition, there are many athletes who could find themselves atop the podium this season. This year’s competition boasts the past 3 NCAA all-around champions, Paul Juda (2022), Fred Richard (2023), and Khoi Young (2024).

The individual event title contests will provide excitement as well. We’ll see big tumbling on floor including from Kameron Nelson, the first person to ever compete two triple back flips. A ferocious pommel horse battle is bound to ensue between Brandon Dang, Patrick Hoopes, Parker Thackston, Aaronson Mansberger, Ignacio Yockers, Aidan Li, and Khoi Young.

Rings will feature world class strength and high flying dismounts. Vault is up for grabs. The gymnast with the stickiest feet typically wins here. Parallel bars can be counted on to display some of the most fluid and dynamic gymnastics yet to be seen. Fred Richard is the favorite on high bar, but the talent in this contest will give him a run for his money.
