Press Release for the College Gymnastics Association’s 2023 National Academic Team Champions And All-America Scholar-Athletes in Men’s Gymnastics

Illinois has been declared the 2023 College Gymnastics Association’s national academic team champion, earning their first national academic title since the inception of the team award in 1991.Stanford finished second with Penn State taking third place. Michigan and William & Mary were fourthand fifth respectively with Springfield, Nebraska, California, Simpson and Navy rounding out the top 10.The College Gymnastics Association’s top 10 academic teams for men’s gymnastics are:

The College Gymnastics Association has also honored 119 individual gymnasts as 2023 First Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher and 44 Second Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a grade point average between 3.499 and 3.2.
