SESSION 1:
In the first qualifying session, Stanford asserted dominance. Other than a rough floor rotation, the Cardinal looked unstoppable and their team score was far and away superior to any other team in either qualifying session.
Nebraska and Illinois took the other two spots in the first session, out pacing Air Force, Navy, and Army.
Illinois’ Connor McCool and Ian Skirkey put up big sets on floor and pommel horse respectively to lead those events heading into finals. Stanford’s Nick Kuebler is currently leading on rings, while his teammate Brandon Ngyuen tops the list on high bar. Nebraska’s Donte McKinney is tied for the top spot on vault where he’ll vie for the NCAA title.
