2021 National Academic Team Champions And All-America Scholar-Athletes in Men's Gymnastics

AUGUST 26, 2021: Stanford has been declared the 2021 College Gymnastics Association’s national academic team champion, earning their ninth national academic title since the inception of the team award in 1991. Michigan finished second with Minnesota taking third place. William & Mary and California- Berkeley were fourth and fifth respectively with Springfield, Penn State, Illinois, Ohio State and Nebraska rounding out the top 10. The College Gymnastics Association’s top 10 academic teams for men’s gymnastics are:

  4. William & Mary - 3.607

  5. California-Berkeley - 3.474

  6. Springfield - 3.425

The College Gymnastics Association has also honored 133 individual gymnasts as 2021 First Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher and 56 Second Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a grade point average between 3.499 and 3.2.
