BREAKING: CGA, FanWord Reach Partnership Agreement
Despite the disappointing and abrupt end to the 2020 season, the College Gymnastics Association continues to work toward growing the sport. On Wednesday morning, the CGA reached an agreement with a new partnership, FanWord.
Self-described as a storytelling and creative agency, FanWord is a team of creative storytellers ready to help sports brands tell reach fans in creative ways. Oftentimes the stories FanWord aims to tell happen off the field, or in our case, off the mat. FanWord has gained notoriety by partnering with some of the top collegiate sporting brands around such as: Purdue University, the University of Alabama, SMU, etc.
With no shortage of personal stories ready to be told these days, FanWord’s sponsorship of the CGA should be one that allows the voice of the athlete to come through more than ever.
“The partnership between FanWord and the CGA will prove to be fantastic as the personal side of the athletes we all follow in this great sport will be revealed,” said CGA President Mike Burns. “The passion behind the action will fuel the stories of some amazing athletes and I look forward to what's to come.”
“Our team is really excited about partnering with the CGA,” FanWord CEO & Founder Christopher Aumueller said about the deal. “The CGA's mission and values align really well with ours and we look forward to supporting men's gymnastics and sharing the stories of some of the best male gymnasts in the country.”
