BREAKING: CGA and Turn Gymnastics Reach Partnership
On Monday afternoon, the College Gymnastics Association reached an agreement on a deal with a new corporate sponsor, Turn Gymnastics Apparel.
Established in 2011, TURN was founded by David Eaton, a former California Golden Bear gymnast who also competed internationally following college. Much like the CGA, TURN’s goal is simple: to fulfill the needs of elite male gymnasts. Over the last nine-plus years, the company has created high-quality apparel with only the male gymnast in mind.
Among other parameters, through this partnership, TURN will become the sole sponsor of the CGA’s weekly recaps which give a glance at the action happening around the NCAA. Together, TURN and the CGA hope to continue putting men’s gymnastics in a greater spotlight, thus helping future generations enjoy the sport that all involved have come to love.
CGA President Mike Burns on the deal: “What a great moment for both the CGA and TURN as we enter into this Gold sponsorship agreement. David Eaton and his group at TURN have been a huge part of the NCAA men’s gymnastics apparel scene over the past decade and this relationship makes perfect sense in terms of solidifying our relationship into the future.”
Founder/Managing Director for Turn Gymnastics Apparel, David Eaton, on the deal: “It's a privilege to be associated with the College Gymnastics Association. Our mission has always been to provide the men's gymnastics community with the best product available whilst supporting efforts to grow the sport of men's gymnastics. Working with the CGA gives TURN the chance to assist in their efforts to raise the profile of men's gymnastics at the college level, an essential ingredient in ensuring the sport at large continues for many generations to come.”
